The layout is ideal for a restaurant located in a pedestrian area of the city. As a corner, the institution covered two streets with its planning scheme, and the entrance group was located at their intersection.
The visitor is first greeted by a spacious lobby with a reception desk, the style of which is imbued with pomp and, perhaps, excessive conservatism.
It is expected that the continuation of the inspection of the next halls promises a meeting with the usual aristocratic interior, but when you open the door you find yourself in the complete opposite, where vintage prevails, and indifference to imitate any of the classic truths. A total of 200 seats have been found in the halls, at different altitude levels, and there is also a stage with live music.
After visiting the lower floor, the visitor will enter the smoking area. There is a souvenir shop nearby. And if you are interested in learning more about the history of beer and local liqueurs, the drinker will take a tour of the basement of the building where everyone can taste different drinks.
First of all, the task set by the customer was to form a restaurant with a functioning brewery. As it became clear that the establishment will offer a range of alcoholic beverages of its own production, the name “Guralnya” was born by itself. As you know, this forgotten name meant a place where alcoholic beverages were made or sold. The city of Chernivtsi has a rich history. The heart of the interweaving of alleys, avenues, squares and numerous squares is the pedestrian street O. Kobylyanska, which was once named Panska. Hence the name of the institution “Panska Guralnya”. The general concept was based on the presentation of the range of alcoholic beverages of own production.
